49ers star Justin Smith and two Seahawks cornerbacks headline the list of players not suiting up on Sunday night.
When the 49ers and Seahawks meet up for Sunday Night Football, the NFC West title will be on the line. A win from San Francisco gives the Niners their second-straight division crown, while a Seattle victory makes things much more interesting next weekend.
The list of inactive players for both teams have been released.
For the 49ers, All-Pro defensive tackle Justin Smith has been ruled out with an elbow injury. Starting guard Joe Looney is inactive. Rookie wide receiver A.J. Jenkins will not play, as is backup QB Scott Tolzien. Veteran linebacker Clark Haggans will also be on the sidelines. Safety Trenton Robinson and tailback Jewel Hampton are also out.
As for the Seahawks, cornerbacks Marcus Trufant and Walter Thurmond are both out. Rookies DeShawn Shead, Jaye Howard and Rishaw Johnson will not play, nor will guard John Moffitt and tackle Mike Person.
Kickoff from CenturyLink Field is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET.
