NFL odds Week 17: Eagles vs. Giants

Rob Carr

The New York Giants are favored over the Philadelphia Eagles by a touchdown for their Week 17 matchup.

The New York Giants have struggled against the Philadelphia Eagles at home of late, but they're still favorites heading into their Week 17 matchup, according to OddsShark.

New York opened as 9.5-point favorites over the Eagles, but the line has moved a little since then. Most books have the Giants as 7-point favorites in this one.

The Giants have more to play for, as they still have a chance to make it into the playoffs through the Wild Card, though they need a lot of help. The best they can finish is 9-7, and it's unlikely they'll actually make it. For the Giants, though, the only thing they can do in Week 17 is go out and win, so it's likely they'll be playing hard.

Philadelphia has won five straight against the Giants in New York, and some of the players may be playing for their jobs as many changes are expected this offseason.

The over/under for the game is set right around 46 points on most books.
