Jaguars vs. Bills 2012 reaction: Jacksonville fans disappointed by sometimes listless performance in loss

A 34-18 final score in the Jaguars' loss to the Bills actually proves a better outcome than was reflected on the field, according to Big Cat Country.

The final score of an NFL game can sometimes be misleading, and when the Jacksonville Jaguars eventually ended up losing to the Buffalo Bills, 34-18, that turned out to be true. But, much to the chagrin of the Jaguars' faithful, the blowout loss looked better on paper than it actually was in person.

That's at least how the guys over at Big Cat Country felt after seeing the Jaguars drop another game, this time to a Bills team that shut down an offense that had started to click these last few weeks.

After two straight weeks of very strong play from Chad Henne, the Jaguars quarterback struggled against the Bills. He wasn't helped by cold, rainy weather that made for a sloppy game and he also received very few favors from his receivers...

Henne and the Jaguars certainly didn't click against the Bills, but after a muffed punt late in the fourth quarter gave Jacksonville a short field and an opportunity to score, the Jaguars didn't hesitate. But the bloggers knew it only served to blur the actuality of the tough-to-stomach loss.

Had it not been for a muffed punt in the fourth quarter that set the Jaguars up for a five-yard touchdown pass from Chad Henne to Cecil Shorts III with just over 10 minutes remaining, the rout in favor of the Bills would've looked even worse. To put it simply, the Jaguars were dominated in the second half in every facet.
