Richard Sherman will play against Arizona in Week 14, since his appeal hearing is scheduled for Dec. 14

Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman's appeal hearing for a possible four-game suspension is scheduled for Dec. 14 which means the he will play against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.

Sherman is facing a four-game suspension for supposedly violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy but is claiming innocence.

Sherman leads a Seattle secondary that is giving up just 202.8 yards in the air this season which ranks fifth in the league. Sherman had five tackles and a pass deflection in a 23-17 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The win improved the Seahawks to 7-5 on the season, just one win behind the 8-3-1 San Francisco 49ers for first place in the NFC West division.

Sherman has 48 tackles, one sack, three forced fumbles and four interceptions this season for the Seahawks. Sherman's four interceptions this season ties him for seventh in the league.
