The Patriots and Dolphins will conclude their regular seasons in Foxboro on Sunday, with New England still holding out hope of a first-round playoff bye.
The New England Patriots will close out the regular season on Sunday afternoon when they host the Miami Dolphins. They'll be heavy favorites to improve to 12-4, as most odds-makers have them as double-digit favorites.
Despite having clinched the AFC East several weeks ago, the Patriots still have plenty to play for in their regular-season finale. With a win, New England would still have a shot at finishing with either the first or second seed in the AFC playoffs, which would mean a bye during the first round.
The Dolphins have far less to play for, as a win will see them finish just 8-8 and miss the playoffs again. They have been playing fairly well of late, though, winning each of their last two games against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills by healthy margins.
Patriots fans will have an eye on the scoreboard during this one, as the Denver Broncos will host the Kansas City Chiefs in a game that will help determine their playoff seed. That game also kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET.
