NFL inactive list, Week 17: Ravens vs. Bengals

Mitch Stringer-US PRESSWIRE

Baltimore fills their inactive list with banged-up stars, while Cincinnati is practically injury-free.

Baltimore's Pro Bowl offensive lineman Marshal Yanda is listed as inactive for this week's game against Cincinnati. Yanda has been out with a sprained ankle, and did not practice this week. Given that the Ravens have already clinched the AFC North title and are out of contention for a first-round bye, it is unsurprising that Yanda is out. In fact, the team intends to rest some players this week:

The Ravens had a number of other game-time injury decisions. Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, who did not practice this week due to a knee injury, is inactive. Fullback Vonta Leach, another Pro Bowl selection, is active despite being limited in practice this week with an ankle injury. Wide receiver Anquan Boldin is inactive with a shoulder problem that limited him in practice this week. Ray Lewis remains inactive, in line with previous statements that he will wait until the playoffs to return. Terrell Suggs and Bernard Pollard are also being held out of action.

The Bengals will be without cornerback Terence Newman, who was limited in practice this week with a groin injury and is on the inactive list.
