With Black Monday in the NFL rapidly approaching, many names are coming up in coaching searches, including Bill O'Brien.

The NFL coaching carousel is about to start wildly spinning, which means names who could serve as replacements are going to be thrown around at the speed of light.

One such name already being tossed around is Penn State Nittany Lions head coach Bill O'Brien, who did a masterful job under seemingly impossible circumstances. The teams being rumored to be intrigued so far are the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles, who are sure to fire Pat Shurmur and Andy Reid, respectively, at the end of the season, according to ESPN.com.

O'Brien took over the job after massive sanctions were placed on Penn State, forcing him to work without many of his best players who transferred out, including Silas Redd, the star running back who moved on to USC.

All O'Brien did was lead the Nittany Lions to an 8-4 record, all while instilling a no-nonsense approach that took his team to higher levels than most could have envisioned.
