US PRESSWIRE
Despite playing their bitter rival on the road, the Denver Broncos are heavy favorites to come away with the win on Thursday night. Most of the experts agree.
The Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders will showcase their historic rivalry on a national stage on Thursday night, when the two teams square off at the O.co Coliseum at 8:20 p.m. ET.
The Broncos are 10.5-point favorites heading into the game as one of the best teams in the AFC and fresh off clinching the AFC West division.
According to SB Nation's Week 14 pick, the Broncos will easily cover the spread with a 34-10 win. Six out of eight experts at CBS Sports picked Denver to cover, while Yahoo! Sports is going all in with Denver with its three registered picks.
The evidence is clearly in Denver's favor. The Broncos have won seven straight games and have scored over 30 points in six of those contests. Meanwhile, Oakland is allowing 31.3 points per game and 256.6 yards per game through the air.
The Raiders gave up 20 points to the offensively challenged Cleveland Browns, so with Peyton Manning under center, there's little for bettors to be optimistic about under the circumstances.
