Experts weigh in on who will win the Week 14 showdown between the Chargers and Steelers.
The San Diego Chargers hope to end a losing streak as they visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, but experts are siding heavily with the Steelers to claim a home victory.
San Diego finds itself on a four-game losing streak, and is 1-7 after starting the year the season 3-1, despite having the NFL's ninth-best defense. Their struggles have been on offense, where Phillip Rivers and company rank in the bottom third of the league. The run game featuring Ryan Mathews has struggled, netting only 95 yards per game.
The Steelers have won five of their last seven behind one of the best defenses in the NFL. Pittsburgh holds opponents to just 260 yards per game, including a stifling 167 passing yards allowed. But the Steelers struggle to run the ball too, barely breaking the 100-yard mark per contest.
Experts so far have sided unanimously with Pittsburgh. At CBS Sports, all eight pickers have the Steelers taking the win. The two experts at Yahoo! Sports, along with a majority of Yahoo! users, have also chosen Pittsburgh to win.
