The Broncos need a win to try and catch up to the Houston Texans for the top spot in the AFC.

The Denver Broncos need this victory in a worse way than the Oakland Raiders. Oakland is all but out of the playoffs while the Broncos can still catch, with a few breaks going their way, the Houston Texans for the top-seed in the AFC come playoff time.

Kickoff is about 60 minutes away and the teams have released their inactives for this nationally televised Thursday night game. The Broncos will be without back-up quarterback Caleb Hanie, cornerback Tracy Porter, tight end Julius Thomas, fullback Jacob Hester, guard Chris Kuper, linebacker Wesley Woodyard and defensive tackle Sealver Siliga.

As for the Black and Silver, they'll be missing defensive end Jack Crawford, defensive tackle Richard Seymour, running back Jeremy Stewart, wide receiver Derek Hagan, tackle Willie Smith, offensive lineman Lucas Nix and running back/fullback Jamize Olawale.

The game is scheduled for a 8:20 p.m. ET from O.co Coliseum in Oakland. The game will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
