US PRESSWIRE
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to stay close in the playoff picture as the Philadelphia Eagles hope to break an eight game losing streak.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hope to bounce back from back-to-back losses and get back into the playoff picture in the NFC when they take on the struggling Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
The Buccaneers (6-6) are currently one game behind the Seattle Seahawks in the race for the final NFC Wild Card spot. Tampa has lost their last two games to strong playoff teams in the Falcons and Broncos, and need to get back into the win column if they want to keep a realistic shot at the playoffs. Tampa has scored over 20 points in each of their last nine games.
Philadelphia (3-9) has lost eight straight games and coach Andy Reid has turned the reigns over to rookie quarterback Nick Foles for the rest of the season. Foles had his best game in the Eagles recent loss to the Cowboys, but has yet to earn a win. Running back Bryce Brown has been a bright spot in the last two games, but will have a tough task against the top-ranked Tampa rush defense (82.3 yards per game allowed).
