The Kansas City Chiefs head to Cleveland and face the Browns a week after an emotion win.
The Kansas City Chiefs visit the Cleveland Browns Sunday and though a combined 6-18 record could hint otherwise, both teams are coming off wins.
The Chiefs (2-10) won an emotional game against the Carolina Panthers last Sunday, just days after the stunning suicide of Kansas City linebacker Jovan Belcher. Brady Quinn, in his second start since quarterback Matt Cassel suffered a concussion, led the Chiefs by connecting on 19-of-23 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns. He and head coach Romeo Crennel, who a few years ago were with the Browns, return to their old stomping grounds.
But the Browns (4-8) are showing signs of promise coming into the game on a two-game winning streak. Cleveland beat the Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders thanks to sound rush defense that gave up an average of 67 yards to the two teams. Three of the Browns' four wins this year came at home, and with rookies Brandon Weeden at quarterback and Trent Richardson at running back settling into things, Cleveland could be a tough out for the Chiefs.
