The starting quarterbacks in Sunday's game between the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs were Brandon Weeden and Brady Quinn. Given this revalation, one would think that the entire team of officials would be well aware of the risks they were taking.

Why do we think the side judge he was so unprepared?
- He was asleep
- The referee was practicing for his full-time job as a living statue
- He was catatonic, and only Quinn's ability could bring him back
In any event, it spurred him into action -- and that's a good thing.
