Kansas City Chiefs defense lineman Shaun Smith was a little grumpy on Sunday. What else could explain his curious decision to blatantly choke a player from the Browns? It was a pretty ugly incident, but Smith didn't stop there. He took his control issues public, blasting members of the media on Twitter following the Chiefs' 30-7 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
It all started because someone dared question his bold prediction prior to the game.
RT @autumnsjs90 It's game day n we are gonna win today by 10 the brownies suck n we gonna show up today chiefs

Parkins, a Kansas City radio broadcaster, called him out on it.
I respect @autumnsjs90 but when you say "we are gonna win today by 10 the brownies suck" and get blown out you're gonna get some backlash.

Smith blocked Parkins, leaving him with a classy parting shot.
Who-o-oa! RT @autumnsjs90 @dannyparkins no pussy i have faith n my teammates so u r blocked chump u don't want to c me in the street be easy

Parkins didn't feel overly threatened.
So @autumnsjs90 blocked me. I don't know what he means by me not wanting to see him in the streets. I'll ask tomorrow in the locker room.

Again, no problem with pregame confidence and think Shaun Smith is a great teammate. Just don't think he should be surprised by backlash.

Smith reportedly told Parkins to "jump off a bridge" as well.
The chocking incident wasn't the first case of Smith introducing some questionable play into his game. In September 2010, he grabbed opponents in the crotch.
