Lions vs. Packers results: Green Bay rallies for 27-20 victory

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Green Bay bounced back from an early two-score deficit to take down the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.

The Green Bay Packers rallied for a 27-20 victory over the Detroit Lions at a snowy Lambeau Field on Sunday night. The Packers fell behind 14-0 early and trailed at halftime, but they limited the Lions to just six points in the second half en route to victory.

Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford scored on a four-yard run into the end zone to give the Lions a 7-0 first-quarter lead, then doubled his team's lead with a touchdown pass to Tony Scheffler. Green Bay answered with a Mason Crosby field goal and got its first touchdown on a fumble returned for a score by Mike Daniels midway through the second quarter.

Green Bay claimed its first lead of the game early in the third quarter on a 27-yard touchdown run by quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Detroit evened the score at 17 later in the period with a Jason Hanson field goal. The two teams entered the fourth quarter tied, but the final 15 minutes would belong to Green Bay.

Running back DuJuan Harris scored from 14 yards out to give the Packers a 24-17 lead with about 11 minutes to play, and Crosby pushed the margin to 27-17 by connecting on a field goal with 4:06 to play.

Detroit tacked on a field goal with less than 10 seconds to play to tighten the margin, but its onside kick attempt failed, and Green Bay ran out the clock.

Fantasy studs and duds

Stafford threw for 264 yards and accounted for two touchdowns, though he also threw an interception. Rodgers threw for 173 yards and ran for another 33, including his touchdown scamper, but was held without a TD pass.

Randall Cobb finished with 102 yards receiving and Calvin Johnson also eclipsed the century mark, though neither player found the end zone.

Injury report

Detroit's Brandon Pettigrew suffered an ankle injury, and Jacob Lacey was shaken up on a play but walked off under his own power.

Did they cover?

Green Bay was a six to seven-point favorite depending on the sportsbook, so it did cover in some cases.
