Over at Yahoo! Sports' Shutdown Corner today, Doug Farrar looks back on his experience at Super Bowl week and writes a tender tribute to his late mother, who passed on February 1st. Warning: It might make you cry like a hopeless little 12 year-old. But you should read it anyway, because it's real, honest, eloquent, and incredibly heartfelt. And because once you're done, whether she's still here or not, you'll appreciate your own mom that much more. And there's really never a bad excuse to appreciate your mom a little more, right?
