Madonna held a press conference on Thursday to discuss her upcoming Super Bowl XLVI halftime show. As Kate Fagan of espnW reports, it was a truly bizarre affair. Perhaps no moment was more surreal than when she stated that New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz "inspired" her with his end-zone salsa dance, and provided her own rendition for the media in attendance. Check out her mesmerizing moves after the jump.
The highlight for me is the enormous fake smile she breaks out towards the end. No one else manages to be quite as disingenuous as Madonna, as she has long toiled in the field and gotten it down to a science. I just can't stop watching the dang thing.
Maybe I'm revealing my nerd roots perhaps a bit too much here, but this display of hers looks a bit too much like the animation in World of Warcraft when you tell a lady zombie to dance. Which is not to say that Madonna looks like a zombie. Ahem.
