Tim Tebow Trade Doesn't Interest The Dolphins, According To Report

Stay connected with SB Nation

With the Denver Broncos acquiring Peyton Manning, the future of Tim Tebow in Denver is basically dead. Tebow will be traded, according to multiple reports. We just don't know where. One popular pick for his destination is the Miami Dolphins, who recently signed David Garrard and lost Chad Henne in free agency.

But, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins have "zero intention" of pursuing Tebow "at this time".

Well then. Maybe things change down the line but if the Dolphins are indeed not interested then the list of potential teams shrinks. Besides the Dolphins, ESPN's early list of potential Tebow destinations includes the Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars. The New York Jets have also discussed a Tebow trade but that's considered a "longshot" at the moment.

The problem with the Tebow situation is that everyone knows the Broncos want to trade him which may make most teams just wait until he's released (if the Broncos choose to release him absent a trade).
