Madden '13 Cover Vote Starts This Week

Once again the athlete on the cover of EA's Madden video game for 2012 will be chosen by the fans. ESPN has a bracket, NCAA tournament style, with 32 players involved. Fans can vote for the winner in every matchup of each round, with the tournament ending the week of the 2012 NFL draft in April.

Your top seeds are Cam Newton and Aaron Rodgers, which doesn't surprise me. Both players had incredible seasons, Newton surprised many in his rookie year and Rodgers racked up the NFL MVP award. Rodgers should dominate his first round opponent, Joe Haden of the Browns.

Salsa-dancing Victor Cruz is a No. 2 seed. The team his Giants beat in Super Bowl XLVI, the Patriots, have Rob Gronkowski as a two-seed. Oddly enough, Gronkowski's first round opponent is also his new teammate. Brandon Lloyd, formerly of the Rams, is a 15-seed.There is no current Ram in the bracket.

Tim Tebow is a 14-seed facing 3-seed Arian Foster in the first round. Looks like an upset special to me.

Last year's surprise winner, Peyton Hillis, isn't in the tournament.
