The former Washington St. Cougars star signed a huge contract before flaming out spectacularly. Following his pro career, Leaf ran into personal issues and ran afoul of the law in 2009 on burglary charges and was placed on 10 years probation.
Ex-NFL quarterback and Great Falls native Ryan Leaf was arrested on burglary, theft and drug charges, according to officials at the Cascade County Detention Center.
Leaf was arrested at about 1 p.m. He is charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor theft and criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
