The 2012 NFL schedule is set to be released on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. (ET) but already a few early leaks are getting out. The New England Patriots have already announced via their Twitter page that the Patriots will be on primetime four times this season, which matches their total from last year.
An easy guess for one Patriots primetime would be against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Other possibilities include the San Francisco 49ers, who made it to the NFC Championship last season, and the AFC East rival New York Jets.
The NFL's primetime slate includes NBC's Sunday Night Football (or Thanksgiving football), ESPN's Monday Night Football and NFL Network's Thursday Night Football. The Thursday Night Football schedule has been expanded this year with 13 Thursday night games.
