Jaguars 2012 Schedule: Jacksonville Season Opens Up Against Vikings

The Jacksonville Jaguars are hoping that 2012 can end up being a bit of a rebuilding season for them. They will be hoping to pick up some big missing pieces at next week's 2012 NFL Draft and on the free agent market in the months leading up to the fall kickoff.

On Tuesday, the full 2012 NFL season schedule was released. The Jaguars now have nearly half a year to plan and prepare, to scout their opponents and plan for the toughest stretches of the brutal football season.

In all, the 2012 schedule for the Jaguars looks pretty amenable to helping Jacksonville gain some ground. No string of games looks particularly back-breaking, but the marquee matchup for the year looks to be in Week 14, when hometown boy Tim Tebow comes to town with his new team, the New York Jets.
