Percy Harvin Reveals He Needs Shoulder Surgery

Percy Harvin is going under the knife again, but shouldn't miss any offseason team activities.

Minnesota Vikings speedster Percy Harvin has a long injury history of nicks, bruises, and migraine headaches that dates back to his time as a college star at Florida. So the only thing that is surprising about his latest injury is the forum in which he announced it: Harvin took to Twitter on Monday to say he needs shoulder surgery.

Harvin also went on to say that his recovery period is not expected to be long enough to keep him out of organized team activities.

That's great news for the Vikings, because Harvin has been their most reliable playmaker outside of Adrian Peterson in his three years in the NFL, and had his finest season in 2011, hauling in 87 passes for 967 yards and six touchdowns, rushing 52 times for 345 yards and two touchdowns, and returning 16 kickoffs for 520 yards and a touchdown.
