Osi Umenyiora probably woke up super early on Mother's Day to make breakfast in bed for his mom. Because by 9:36 a.m. ET, the Giants defensive end was free to get on Twitter and wish a happy Mother's Day to Eagles running back LeSean McCoy.
So, the spat between these two is still on, a fact that Umenyiora confirmed when he tweeted at former teammate Brandon Jacobs: "hahaha u know the beef is never over. Never."
Not even on Mother's Day, apparently. #ShotsFired after the jump.

Osi is new to Twitter so he didn't know to @mention McCoy. But the tweet came to LeSean's attention because shortly after he responded.

The New Star-Ledger's Jorge Castillo has a catch-up on the beef between these two:
Last June it was McCoy who took an unprovoked shot at Umenyiora by tweeting that Umenyiora is "Overrated n soft 3rd best d-line on his team honestly."
Umenyiora then fired back.
"I mean, he’s a girl, man. Who does stuff like that?" Umenyiora told the Star-Ledger. "If he has more of these things to say, he can say ‘em to my face. Don’t be no Twitter gangster man."
Umenyiora also referred to McCoy as "Lady Gaga" and "she" and said the two "hate" each other.
Yeah, the thing is that calling someone a woman isn't really a funny joke or a joke at all. It's just stupid.
