Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt is on the road to recovery from a knee injury that prematurely ended his 2011 season, but not completely without complications. There is a possibility that Britt could require a second procedure on his knee before he is able to return to the field. If Britt does require a second surgery, it will be less serious than the first surgery he received on his ACL and MCL.
Titans coach Mike Munchak mentioned the possibility of a second surgery, and compared the situation to the one that Derrick Morgan went through last season with a knee injury.
"I don't know if he will at some point, but I think that's something that's common with that injury. Derrick went through it last year," Munchak said. "The good thing is that even if you do have it, it's not a huge setback."
Britt was very productive in his first two seasons with the Titans and was on pace to have the best year of his career through three games in 2011 before he picked up the injury that ended his season. The team hopes to have him back to the field for training camp and healthy to start the regular season.
