Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed walked back comments he made on Thursday afternoon in which he portrayed himself as undecided on whether or not to continue his football career. Hours after telling Adam Schein of SiriusXM satellite radio that he was "not 100 percent committed" to football in 2012, Reed told Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County, Md., Times that he wanted to "play football in the years to come."
Ed Reed quote given to me re. radio interview 'It's not about retirement, it's about my focus in the offseason, health, family and football'

Ed Reed cont. : 'This is the time of year where players think through things. My goal is to play football in the years to come.'

Ravens fans can breathe a little easier knowing that Reed, who turns 34 in September, still wants to play football.
