Seattle's Allen Barbre has been suspended for Seahawks' first four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) May 23, 2012
It's unclear what substance Barbre tested positive for; regardless he will miss Seattle's first four games of 2012 barring an appeal. Barbre saw time in four games for the Seahawks last season in a reserve role. He was originally selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played three seasons in Green Bay, starting seven games. He also spent time on the Miami Dolphins roster in 2010. For his career, Barbre has played in 32 games with seven starts.
