Diehl has been a mainstay on New York's offensive line for a decade.
NY Giants offensive lineman David Diehl arrested for DWI according to police sources in Queens on 35th avenue. Being held at the 114pct.— Shimon Prokupecz (@shimon4ny) June 11, 2012
NY Giants David Diehls's alcohol level was more than 2 times the legal at .18 according to police source. Legal limit is .08.— Shimon Prokupecz (@shimon4ny) June 11, 2012
Diehl, a 6'5 305 offensive tackle, has started all 136 games he has played in since being drafted out of Illinois by the New York Giants in the fifth round of the 2003 draft.
However, if this evidence holds up, he will probably end up facing NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for violating the league's personal conduct policy and will miss some action at the start of the 2012 season.
