Jacksonville Jaguars 1st-round pick Justin Blackmon was arrested a few weeks ago and charged with aggravated DUI in Stillwater, Okla., after allegedly blowing .24 on the breathalyzer. This led to wondering just how intoxicated the 210-pound wide receiver was that night, because blowing a .24, which is three times the legal limit, means you have quite a bit of alcohol in your system.
Well, we now get to see just how drunk and surprisingly lucid Blackmon was on that night, as First Coast News in Jacksonville, Fla. has obtained a copy of Blackmon's booking video.
As you can see, Blackmon was asked by the officer if he was drinking beer or liquor and responds with, "I'm literally not a drinker." Blackmon then admits he was drinking that night, so I guess it wasn't all that literal.
Blackmon also says, "This is the first time I've been here... in Stillwater," which is pretty absurd given he played his college football at Oklahoma State... which is in Stillwater, Okla.
It's obvious Blackmon was drunk, but the question that will come up in July when he heads to court will be just how drunk. From the video, he certainly seems pretty lucid for someone that's three times the legal limit, but then again he doesn't seem to remember being in Stillwater before.
