After the report that Percy Harvin requested a trade from the Minnesota Vikings, the first thought that pops into your head is that this is over money, like most trade requests. But, according to Harvin, his issues are not related to his contract, which has two years remaining.
Fans I said I have issues to be worked out money not at all being the problem...I've dne everything asked and more...

Well then. This makes the situation a lot more curious. It's unclear at this point exactly what is making Harvin unhappy if a new contract has been ruled as the reason for his trade request.
At this point there's no reason to think the Vikings will trade him considering the GM, Rick Spielman, has already publicly declared that they plan to keep Harvin.
