Jaguars defensive lineman Odrick Ray's weekend arrest for outstanding traffic warrants may crush his chances of making an NFL team.

Jaguars defensive lineman Odrick Ray was arrested on Friday for outstanding traffic warrants after a traffic stop, reports FOX 23 in Tulsa.

Police records indicate that Ray was stopped for speeding and not wearing a safety belt, then taken into custody after the discovery of his outstanding warrants. Ray played four years for the University of Tulsa, never recording more than 21 tackles in a year for the Golden Hurricane, before trying to make it in the NFL in 2011.

SB Nation's Jaguars blog, Big Cat Country, reports that Ray was let go by the Jaguars before the regular season in 2011, but was invited back for the 2012 season and asked to bulk up and play defensive tackle.

Obviously, Ray's chances of making an NFL roster might be significantly diminished by this arrest, which could lead to discipline from the league before he ever sees the field.
