The San Diego Chargers have spent a very long time underachieving with one of the most talented rosters in the league, to the point that it is now very debatable whether they actually have a playoff-quality roster. They're still very good, however, and every other team in the AFC West has question marks surrounding them. When they kick off training camp on July 25, they'll have a division title in mind as their goal for the season.
San Diego lost Vincent Jackson to free agency but did a decent job of replacing him with Robert Meachem. They also added some good pieces through the draft in Melvin Ingram and Kendall Reyes, both of whom should help on defense immediately. The Chargers also still employ Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates, so they should be able to move the ball, but they also still employ Norv Turner, which is really confusing.
