The San Francisco 49ers had a breakout season last year, riding one of the best defenses in the league to the NFC Championship Game and nearly all the way to the Super Bowl. In 2012, they will have their sights set on winning the whole enchilada.
The Niners will hope to benefit from a revamped offense, as scoring points was their Achilles heel in 2011. They've added Mario Manningham, Randy Moss and first-round pick A.J. Jenkins to go along with Vernon Wells and Michael Crabtree in their receiving core and premier rusher Frank Gore.
Fans will get their first look at how the team is appearing to shape up as the Niners kick off their training camp on Thursday.
