One of the biggest questions the Arizona Cardinals will need to answer heading into the 2012 season is who their starting quarterback will be. Kevin Kolb and John Skelton split time last year, with both QBs experiencing mixed results. As Cardinals training camp kicks off, the rest of the team may already be playing favorites.
Jess Root over at Revenge of the Birds relays the information that some of the Cardinals players at camp are "gravitating toward" Skelton as the quarterback of choice, according to Willie McGinest of the NFL Network.
Root surmises that the current climate in the locker room could be due to Skelton being perceived as a more "winning" quarterback based on last year's results. There is still plenty of time before the season begins for one of the two QBs to emerge as the clear choice to start the lion's share of the games in 2012. Undoubtedly, both Skelton and Kolb will do their best over the next few months to make a case for themselves.
