Panthers Win The Super Bowl, Ryan Kalil Reports

Michael Vick says the Eagles are a dynasty. Joe Flacco says he's the best quarterback in the NFL. Rex Ryan has guaranteed a Super Bowl (twice). And now we bring you Ryan Kalil, Panthers offensive lineman, who says Carolina is winning the Super Bowl.

Kalil took out a full page ad in the Charlotte Observer titled: "Why The Carolina Panthers Will Win Super Bowl XLVII"

His follow-up comments to the Observer explain the ad better than that shock headline of guaranteeing a Super Bowl.

"Every team says it every year, whether it's publicly or not," Kalil said. "They say they're going to win the Super Bowl. We've said it in the past in meeting rooms and behind closed doors. This year's different. There's a sense of urgency, a winning attitude that I haven't seen before. And it's in the way we prepare."

A question for the comments section: How would you view this Super Bowl guarantee if it came from someone more prominent, like Cam Newton?
