Where were you at 8:20 p.m. Eastern? Write it down, because that was when Tim Tebow made his debut at quarterback for the New York Jets. I'm sure you will not want to forget that moment.
His first play of the game was a 12-yard pass to Jets rookie wide receiver Stephen Hill. It was a solid throw from Tebow who really did look like he has worked on his throwing motion since last season. Over the course of eight plays on a drive that ended with a field goal, Tebow completed one of three passes.
He also ran the ball twice for a total of 24 yards, a more familiar sight from last season's quarterback that confused defenses across the league.
The Jets are expected to give Tebow another series, if not more, at quarterback in their preseason opener.
