Andrew Luck Making This Look Easy

Preseason or not, Andrew Luck is having a really nice day in front of a big crowd of hungry football fans in Indianapolis. On first-and-10, lined up in a run formation, Luck connected with Austin Collie inside the end zone for a 23-yard touchdown pass.

St. Louis Rams safety Craig Dahl had nothing against Collie in deep coverage, getting caught well out of position and looking like he might have missed the meeting about dividing the field with the other safety.

A very nice start so far for the first overall pick in the draft this year. Luck is 5-for-6 with 113 yards and two touchdowns. Yes, this is the preseason. Yes, this is against the Rams defense, but those numbers are consistent with what the Colts needed to see from the talented rookie.

Luck could have a stiffer test next week when the Colts take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Andrew Luck Starts Preseason Career With Touchdown

Andrew Luck made his first NFL pass, his first snap, a memorable one ... with a little help from the St. Louis Rams defense. Luck hit Donald Brown on a screen pass for a 63-yard touchdown.

It looked like there might have been some holding on that play, but it is only preseason. A nice start for Andrew Luck, who was obviously pleased about it.
