When Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha collided with a teammate during practice Monday, it was initially thought Asomugha may have suffered a concussion. That didn't turn out to be the case, however, as the Eagles said Asomugha has no concussion symptoms, according to a report from Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The injury occurred when the Eagles were going through 7-on-7 drills. Asomugha collided with safety Nate Allen and laid motionless face down on the field for several minutes before being taken off on a cart. Asomugha was evaluated for a concussion following the collision but has only a lip laceration and a sore neck, according to SB Nation's Bleeding Green Nation.

Allen was also shaken up during the incident, but he was able to return to practice Monday.
