Since taking over as NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell has not been kind to players who break the law multiple times. One would suspect that he has been thinking heavily about what to do with Kenny Britt, who has had eight run-ins with the law since being drafted in 2009.
After a DUI arrest last month, Britt met with Goodell last Monday. Britt has yet to hear back, according to The Tennessean.
"(Goodell said) he would think about it and get to me as soon as possible, sooner or later, I’m not too sure," said Britt, who traveled to New York last Monday to meet with the commissioner. "Hopefully he’ll contact me or send a letter or speak to my agent. … Once I know, I’ll let ya’ll know. Or maybe you’ll find out before me."
Britt is currently on the PUP list with injuries to his knees.
