The Green Bay Packers host the Cleveland Browns in action from Week 2 of the 2012 NFL Preseason. Cleveland hopes to avoid a repeat of their injury-plagued Week 1 game, while the Packers' Aaron Rodgers will look to improve on his Week 1 performance.
Colt McCoy and the Cleveland Browns will head to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 2 of the 2012 NFL preseason. Cleveland won their first game, beating Detroit 19-17, while Green Bay lost their preseason opener to the San Diego Chargers, 21-13.
The Browns hope to emerge from Week 2 healtheir than they did Week 1, which saw injuries to linebacker Scott Fujita, wideouts Mohamed Massaquoi and Travis Benjamin, cornerback Dimitri Patterson, tight end Jordan Cameron, and defensive tackle Scott Paxson. Massaquoi's concussion is the most troubling for the Browns. For their part, the Packers will look to Aaron Rodgers for a better performance than he mananged in their preaseason opener. He went 2-for-8 with an interception in the loss to the Chargers. He may be hampered by the absence of wide receiver Greg Jennings or tight end Jermichael Finley, both of whom are expected to miss the game.
Odds for the game favor Green Bay, with the Packers opening as +4.5 favorites, with the line moving towards +3.
