Duane Brown will be staying in Houston for the time being. The tackle has agreed to a new contract with the Texans.
The Houston Texans and Duane Brown will be sticking together for a while longer. The offensive tackle will play with the team through the 2012 season at least.
John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported on Thursday that the Texans and Brown have reached an agreement for a new contract. Brown had been one of the team's two most important unsigned players, along with outside linebacker Connor Barwin.
Brown had a great season last year, playing in 16 games and making AP second-team All-Pro. He has been with the Texans for his entire professional career, ever since being selected by the team as the No. 26 overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Texans fans will certainly look forward to this home-grown talent returning.
