Miami plays in their second game of the preseason when they face Cam Newton and Carolina on Friday night.
With the Chad Johnson saga now officially over, the Miami Dolphins will try to get back to a normal preseason routine when they face the Carolina Panthers on Friday night.
Second-year QB Cam Newton, after his dominant rookie season, is quickly becoming one of the biggest stars in the NFL, although Miami fans likely won't get much of a chance to see him in a game where the starters aren't likely to play more than the first quarter.
For the Dolphins, the big story-line will be the play of first-year QB Ryan Tannehill as the team tries to develop the Texas A&M product while also maintaining a QB competition under first year coach Joe Philbin.
Game Date/Time: Friday, August 17; 8 p.m. ET
Location: Sun Life Stadium, Miami, FL
