Jacoby Ford Injury: Raiders WR Gets MRI, According To Report

Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford is getting an MRI on his foot after he was injured during Oakland's preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals Friday night, according to a report from ProFootballTalk.com.

Ford, who missed eight games last season, was apparently injured after catching a pass midway through the first quarter. After leaving the game, Ford was later seen on crutches on the sideline.

A serious foot injury would be a major disappointment for Ford, who is expected to be a major part of the Raiders offense this season. He's shown plenty of big play ability during his two-year NFL career, but missed six of the final seven games last season with a foot sprain.

Ford has caught 44 passes for 749 yards and three touchdowns during his two seasons in Oakland, in addition to being one of the NFL's most dangerous return men.
