St. Louis wide receiver Brian Quick was taken into the locker room with a back injury during the third quarter of the Rams' home game against Kansas City on Saturday night. Quick was sent to have X-rays performed to assess the damage.
Quick had three receptions for 20 yards as part of the Rams' sudden explosion of offense in the Edward Jones Dome before leaving with the injury. Early in the fourth quarter, the Rams lead the Chiefs 31-10 on the strength of quarterback efficiency and ball safety.
Rams quarterbacks Sam Bradford, Kellen Clemens and Austin Davis have combined to go 19/26 for 222 yards and two touchdowns on the night to lead the offense. Meanwhile, the Chiefs have lost three fumbles on top of an interception thrown by Ricky Stanzi.
Stephen Jackson rushed for 49 yards on seven carries early in the game for the Rams before departing to the bench for the night.
