Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe could suit up against the Seattle Seahawks on Friday, according to a report from team insider Josh Looney.
Bowe ended his offseason holdout with the Chiefs on Friday before they headed to St. Louis for their preseason matchup with the Rams. He passed a physical and a conditioning test at the University of Kansas Hospital Training Complex before signing his one-year franchise tag, and now has about a week to prepare for Pete Carroll's Seahawks.
Bowe will be hard-pressed to get back into game shape after missing the entire offseason and first three weeks of camp with Kansas City. The time for him to practice will be shortened even further due to a three-day acclimation period he must go through under the new CBA. He can only take part in meetings and walk-throughs, though Friday's tests served as the first day of the acclimation period.
Bowe will have just two practices and Thursday's light workouts to prepare him for Seattle if he is going to play.
