The Miami Dolphins haven't named a starting quarterback yet, but Ryan Tannehill is gaining momentum, according to The Palm Beach Post's Ben Volin:
But there’s a reason that, after speaking to league sources over the weekend, there’s a growing buzz that Tannehill will soon be named the starting quarterback for Friday’s game vs. Atlanta and, subsequently, for the Week 1 regular season game at Houston: The coaches are impressed with Tannehill’s decision-making and quick development. Through two preseason games, Tannehill has yet to throw an interception or turn the ball over.

Tannehill was 11-23 for 100 yards in the Dolphins' most recent preseason game, a 23-17 loss to the Panthers. While his performance in that game was not overly impressive, it was better than Matt Moore's effort -- Moore completed just five of 15 pass attempts.
