Cowboys Don't Believe Dez Bryant Injury Is Serious, According To Report

Despite watching their star wide receiver leave practice on Monday with an apparent knee injury, the Dallas Cowboys still do not believe Dez Bryant's knee problem will turn out to be serious according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

While it's sure great to hear that the Cowboys aren't fully concerned at the moment, MRI results have been known to surprise teams before, and it's not like knee injuries are the most predictable lot. Bryant reportedly slipped coming out of a break during his team's joint practice with the Chargers and immediately went down holding his knee before being taken off by trainers, so there's a good reason for fans to fear the worst right now.

Although Bryant himself told Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com he was fine upon leaving the field, the results of his MRI will ultimately tell the full story. Coupled with the news that fellow receiver Andre Holmes also left practice with an injury of his own, it's clear that the Cowboys need to keep their fingers crossed.
