The Detroit Lions and Oakland Raiders face off in each team's penultimate preseason game with both teams seemingly headed in opposite directions.

The Detroit Lions will travel to face the Oakland Raiders on Saturday in both teams' third preseason game.

The Lions are 1-1 in their two previous preseason contests and are scoring at the highest clip in the NFC North. They're also tied for the fewest points allowed in the division. On the other side, the Raiders have not looked good in their first two preseason contests, losing both and only scoring a combined 27 points.

The Lions have high hopes for the year and would like to enter the regular season with some momentum as the NFC North looks to be a dogfight between the Lions, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. The Lions end their preseason schedule against the Buffalo Bills.

The Raiders are just looking to find some sort of identity before the real games begin in an AFC West with no real dominant team. They'll have one more chance to right the ship after Detroit when their preseason schedule ends at the Seattle Seahawks.

Game Date/Time: Saturday, August 25, 7:00 p.m. ET

Location: Alameda County Coliseum, Oakland, California

TV Schedule (Local):

Lions: WXYZ-TV ABC 7

Raiders: KICU
