St. Louis wide receiver Brian Quick went down early in the second half in the Rams' game against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night. Quick was blasted in the midsection by Cowboys safety Mana Silva and remained on the turf for several minutes.
The play came on a first down near midfield, as Rams quarterback Kellen Clemens tried to complete the pass to Quick near the Cowboys' 36-yard line. It was just the third play of the third quarter.

The 6'3" receiver caught four passes for 29 yards in the Rams' first two preseason games. Quick had yet to catch a pass tonight before leaving the field.
Quick is the Rams' second-round draft pick out of Appalachian State. He played in all four years for the Mountaineers, amassing 3,418 yards and 31 touchdowns. In his senior season, he caught the eye of scouts with 1,096 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
