The New York Jets and Carolina Panthers engaged in another thrilling preseason game on Sunday night. The teams kept the crowd on the edge of their seats -- until the fans got fed up, that is. Even the most costumed fan can only take so much of preseason football.
Even Captain Jet here has a limit to how long he can tolerate a game like Sunday night's game.
"I have to go now; my home planet needs me."
The best part about this GIF is that you can see the exact moment where he makes his peace with leaving. Just before he slaps his fingerless gloves on his (presumably be-jorted) thighs and says "WELP." It is delectable.
